Terms & Conditions
The terms and conditions are agreed by you (the client) and me at the time of the booking form being submitted.
The deposit of £60 to hold your date is none refundable and exempt of any refund owed to you. This deposit must be paid in full at the time of submitting the booking form to secure the wedding date.
Any person/s agreeing to a makeup service on the day of the wedding must agree to the following:
-
Notify me (the makeup artist) of any allergies
-
Give permission to perform the makeup service
-
Give consent to use any photos, videos of the service on the day (this can be done verbally on the day). If permission is granted verbally all parties enter to the agreement that any photos, videos of them can be used in advertisement on paper or through social media platforms. You or any of your wedding party can opt out of this at any time by informing me.
It is your responsibility as the client to inform all your wedding party undergoing the makeup service that they may have their picture taken or be filmed whilst makeup is being applied.
It is also your responsibility (the client) to inform your wedding party or person/s having the makeup service, to tell me of any allergies that they may have before the service takes place.
Preview Makeup (Also known as Makeup Trial)
This is optional, however it is highly recommended that you (the bride) has at least one makeup preview before the date of your wedding.
This not only gives us a chance to meet face to face, but you also get to preview your chosen look. This also offers you the chance to have any patch testing done which will need to be done before the date of the wedding for anything like false lashes, eyelash tints, eyebrow tints. In these cases a makeup preview is a must.
Patch Testing
This is where I test a small area closet to your face for any product that you are not sure of, or products including but not limited to tints, lash glue, face masks.
The area to be tested will be either on your inner wrist or just behind the ears. It is a small area, smaller than the pads of a finger to be applied with the product to be tested, this will then be covered in a plaster or cotton bud.
The area must be kept free from; water, any other product including but not limited to lotions, perfume and other beauty products,
The area must be kept untouched for at least 48 hours after the test has been applied to the skin, as it can take up to 48 hours for a reaction or allergic reaction to take place.
After the allotted 48 hours you must inform me of the outcome even if there is no reaction.
Things to look out for when a patch test is applied:
-
Heat in the area. Does it tingle? Is it feeling prickly
-
Difference in the colour or texture: Is there a bump, does it feel raised to the touch?
-
Does it sting or feel over sensitive?
If any of the above happens or if you feel like it is affecting you in any way remove the plaster or cotton and wash the area with soapy water thoroughly to remove the product, and inform your GP as soon as possible.
DO NOT wait if you feel like you are having a reaction inform you GP or medical professional immediately.
In the event a reaction should occur your preview patch test card or feedback will list all the products tested, where it was tested and why. This will be needed when you see your GP.

The parent/s or legal guardian/s will be required to sign part of the contract under 'Minors' before the contract is sent to me and booking is confirmed.
If a minor is having makeup done both the contract and the 'Minor Parent/ guardian consent' must be submitted to me before the confirmation of the booking is made.
I take makeup for minors seriously and therefore the 2 forms are must to be signed and dated for makeup for minors.
For prom makeup there must be an adult over the age of 18, present when the child/Children are having their makeup done.
